Sloe Gin Fizz Recipe

You will need:
35ml Persie Sloe & Plum Gin
15ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
20ml sugar syrup (or a little less agave syrup)
1 egg white
Prosecco

Have a go:
Add the sloe gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white to a cocktail shaker and vigorously dry-shake (without ice) for about 15 seconds. Add 3 or 4 ice cubes and shake again until your hand freezes against the shaker! Strain into a chilled glass, top with Prosecco and watch your friends go WOW!

You will need:

Have a go:

Muddle a few mint leaves with 25ml Raspberry & Mint Liqueur, 50ml Pusscat Vodka or Zesty Citrus Gin and a dash or two of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until your hand freezes to the side. Strain the drink into a chilled martini glass and garnish with fresh raspberries and a spring of mint.

Animal welfare is a cause close to our hearts so we are hugely enthusiastic (you might say we are full of unbridled excitement!) about creating a bespoke spirit to raise much-needed funds to support the fantastic work at World Horse Welfare.

It is the only charity that seeks to improve the lives of all equids (horses, ponies, donkeys and mules), whatever the nature of their relationship with humankind. World Horse Welfare’s vision is a world where suffering is stamped out and all these animals are treated with respect, compassion and understanding. For more information about their work click here.

And the gin itself? Unsurprisingly Unbridled Gin features horse-friendly apples!

We wanted the gin to celebrate the exhilarating experience of a good hack, so there are top notes of fresh cut grass and apples and heart notes of hay and sandalwood. We have created a spirit that captures the warmth of that special bond between horse and rider – and with £5.00 per bottle donated to World Horse Welfare it leaves you feeling a warm glow on two levels.

Botanicals: Apples and juniper.
Flavour profile: Lightly floral with a faint nose of apples. It is sweet on the nose but dry on the palate.

Golden Retriever Gin is our special 2025 charity bottling in collaboration with Canine Partners, who are celebrating 35 years of partnering physically disabled people with assistance dogs to bring greater independence and quality of life. For more information about their work click here.

The name of the new gin was fairly obvious as Golden Retrievers are one of the breeds most suited to being an assistance dog. And anyone who knows a Golden will understand why the essence of the breed has been captured with a sweet and warming profile! There are faint notes of Madagascan vanilla on the nose, a hint of almond and a gingerbread finish so that the heart of the gin is brimming with cosiness.
