Labrador Gin

Persie Labrador Gin is just like the breed: traditional, mellow, soft in the mouth and warming. It is fresh and playful up front, then soft and warming once it settles. What makes it traditional is bags of juniper up front and on the nose, then cardamom and coriander pop up when you add tonic to make it soft and warming.

Sloe Gin Fizz Recipe
You will need:
35ml Persie Sloe & Plum Gin
15ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
20ml sugar syrup (or a little less agave syrup)
1 egg white
ProseccoHave a go:
Add the sloe gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white to a cocktail shaker and vigorously dry-shake (without ice) for about 15 seconds. Add 3 or 4 ice cubes and shake again until your hand freezes against the shaker! Raspberry Mint Martini
You will need:
- 25ml Raspberry & Mint Liqueur
- 50ml Pusscat Vodka or Zesty Citrus Gin
- lemon juice
- mint leaves
Have a go:
Muddle a few mint leaves with 25ml Raspberry & Mint Liqueur, 50ml Pusscat Vodka or Zesty Citrus Gin and a dash or two of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until your hand freezes to the side. Strain the drink into a chilled martini glass and garnish with fresh raspberries and a spring of mint.

Just follow the five easy steps:
Step 1: Choose the Persie spirit from the options above. You can choose vodka in 70cl size or gin in 50cl or 1 litre size bottles. If you’re booking a tasting and wish to decide on the day, choose Tour Collection Gin; we will have the label printed off and ready to be applied to the gin bottle of your choice.
Step 2: If you wish, you can choose a special design to suit the occasion rather than uploading an image: we offer Wordle-inspired or Keep Calm & Drink Gin designs (see our gallery images).
Step 3: Find a favourite picture. This could be of your friend or family member, their much loved holiday destination, their dog, cat or budgie! Ideally the picture should be in portrait format, but we can work with most of what we’re sent. One thing worth remembering, though – dark colours won’t print as well on a label. Upload your image using the link below. (*NOTE If you are choosing the Wordle or Keep Calm designs you don’t need to upload anything.)
Step 4: Decide what you’d like to say. Examples include: “I love you more than gin!”, “A special bottling for (name)”, “We go together like G&T”, “Daisy’s Gin” (or any other name), or a simple “Happy Birthday”. If you are choosing the Wordle design, we require one five letter name (eg Holly, Chris or Karen) and for the Keep Calm design we ask for one name of any length.

Animal welfare is a cause close to our hearts so we are hugely enthusiastic (you might say we are full of unbridled excitement!) about creating a bespoke spirit to raise much-needed funds to support the fantastic work at World Horse Welfare.
It is the only charity that seeks to improve the lives of all equids (horses, ponies, donkeys and mules), whatever the nature of their relationship with humankind. World Horse Welfare’s vision is a world where suffering is stamped out and all these animals are treated with respect, compassion and understanding. For more information about their work click here.
And the gin itself? Unsurprisingly Unbridled Gin features horse-friendly apples!
We wanted the gin to celebrate the exhilarating experience of a good hack, so there are top notes of fresh cut grass and apples and heart notes of hay and sandalwood. We have created a spirit that captures the warmth of that special bond between horse and rider – and with £5.00 per bottle donated to World Horse Welfare it leaves you feeling a warm glow on two levels.
Botanicals: Apples and juniper.
Flavour profile: Lightly floral with a faint nose of apples. It is sweet on the nose but dry on the palate.

Terrier Gin
£35.00Every few months Persie Distillery chooses a dedicated charity for a three-month fundraising endeavour. We create a gin to reflect a particular cause and donate £5.00 per bottle to our nominated charity partner.
Terrier Gin is the latest in the Persie Charity Collection! The cause was brought to our attention at Crufts when the charity Terrier SOS was praised for its outstanding contribution to the dog rescue community throughout the UK and Europe.
The team’s ethos is that care and compassion shouldn’t stop at a border. The rescue began saving dogs from shelters in southern Spain – with many dogs abandoned by British families – but has evolved to help Terriers in need in other parts of Europe and the UK.
Most of the charity’s energies are focused on rescues or pounds/perreras. This includes:
– extreme case dogs
– dogs with deadlines
– dogs that have been overlooked or have little chance of finding a loving home
– dogs that are left in kennels so long they become institutionalised.The team also supports the shelters by providing supplies, medication, food and bedding.

And the gin itself? Not surprisingly Terrier Gin has been created for dog lovers who are drawn to a strong spirit! We have captured the essence of the breed with invigorating notes of juniper and a lively rush of spice from cinnamon and cardamom. The heart of the gin is brimming with warmth!
Flavour profile: herbaceous juniper, cinnamon and cardamom.

This special edition gin will be on sale for a limited period only, with £5.00 per bottle donated to JR Whippet Rescue. For 50 years JR Whippet Rescue has been helping whippets in need:
– whippets who have been lost, abandoned, or have strayed
– whippets who have been neglected or ill treated and are suffering physical and/or mental distress
– whippets who are threatened with destruction or with sale to a dealer
– whippets whose owners are experiencing life changes incompatible with continuing to care for their dogs.
