Whippet Gin

Every quarter Persie Distillery chooses a dedicated charity for a three-month fundraising endeavour. We create a gin to reflect a particular cause and donate £5.00 per bottle to our nominated charity partner.

Whippet Gin is the latest in the Persie Charity Collection! The idea was brought to us by the keen Scottish breeders, exhibitors and owners of whippets who make up the Whippet Club of Scotland. For more information about the Club click here.

This limited edition gin will be on sale from May through to July 2023 with £5.00 per bottle donated to JR Whippet Rescue. For 50 years JR Whippet Rescue has been helping whippets in need:

– whippets who have been lost, abandoned, or have strayed

– whippets who have been neglected or ill treated and are suffering physical and/or mental distress

– whippets who are threatened with destruction or with sale to a dealer

– whippets whose owners are experiencing life changes incompatible with continuing to care for their dogs.

And the gin itself? Not surprisingly it has been created for dog lovers who like a quick drink! We have captured the spirit of the breed with top notes of fresh fields to run free in, followed by the gentle settling warmth of your whippet curled up on the sofa beside you.
