Whippet Gin is one of the Persie Charity Collection! The idea was brought to us by the keen Scottish breeders, exhibitors and owners of whippets who make up the Whippet Club of Scotland. For more information about the Club click here.
This special edition gin will be on sale for a limited period only, with £5.00 per bottle donated to JR Whippet Rescue.
For 50 years JR Whippet Rescue has been helping whippets in need:
– whippets who have been lost, abandoned, or have strayed
– whippets who have been neglected or ill treated and are suffering physical and/or mental distress
– whippets who are threatened with destruction or with sale to a dealer
– whippets whose owners are experiencing life changes incompatible with continuing to care for their dogs.

And the gin itself? Not surprisingly it has been created for dog lovers who like a quick drink! We have captured the spirit of the breed with top notes of fresh fields to run free in, followed by the gentle settling warmth of your whippet curled up on the sofa beside you.
Flavour profile: grassy juniper, lemon peel and pepper.
Suggested serve: mix with tonic, lemonade or ginger ale. Garnish with strawberries and black pepper.
Whippet Gin is available in 50cl standard size with £5.00 per bottle donated to Whippet Rescue, and also in 5cl miniature with 15% going to Whippet Rescue.
One last thing! If you would like a picture of your dog (or dogs!) with their name(s) on the back label that’s no problem at all. Just follow the instructions below 🙂
A Word About the Persie Charity Collection
Persie Distillery launched its first charity gins in 2018 with Labrador Gin, Spaniel Gin and Dachshund Gin Liqueur, with each bottle sold raising funds for Scottish dog rescue charity PADS. Pusscat Vodka launched in 2020 as a fundraiser for Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. Since 2022, we have chosen to release a new limited edition to our Charity Collection each year – available for 12 months and dedicated to a particular cause. This has featured Terrier Gin for Terrier SOS (2022), Whippet Gin for JR Whippet Rescue (2023), Unbridled Gin for World Horse Welfare (2024), and Golden Retriever Gin for Canine Partners (2025). During the year, each Charity Collection spirit has raised between £1,000 and £5,000 for the nominated charity.
