Greyhound Gin is the latest in the Persie Charity Collection! This special bottling is in collaboration with Tia Rescue which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026.
The number of greyhounds needing homes is eye-watering.
For three decades Tia Rescue has been dedicated to improving the welfare of greyhounds. Here’s what they do:
– take in lost or abandoned greyhounds
– work with stray kennels and Dog Wardens to find homes for greyhounds who have been neglected or ill-treated and are suffering physical and/or mental distress
– seek appropriate treatment for racing greyhounds who have been handled with cruelty and disregard
– rehome retired racing greyhounds direct from trainers
– with the invention of the Wall of Shame, Tia acts as a conscience for breeders, owners and trainers on the racing circuit.
Hundreds of greyhounds, whether racing dogs or not, would not survive without the commitment of the Tia Rescue team. You can read more about the amazing work they do here.
And the gin itself? Not surprisingly it has been created for dog lovers who like a quick drink! We have captured the spirit of the breed with top notes of fresh fields to run free in, followed by the gentle settling warmth of your Greyhound curled up on the sofa beside you.

A Word About the Persie Charity Collection
Persie Distillery launched its first charity gins in 2018 with Labrador Gin, Spaniel Gin and Dachshund Gin Liqueur, with each bottle sold raising funds for Scottish dog rescue charity PADS. Pusscat Vodka launched in 2020 as a fundraiser for Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. Since 2022, we have chosen to release a new Charity Collection limited edition each year, dedicated to a particular cause. We have featured Terrier Gin for Terrier SOS (2022), Whippet Gin for JR Whippet Rescue (2023), Unbridled Gin for World Horse Welfare (2024), and Golden Retriever Gin for Canine Partners (2025). Each Charity Collection spirit has raised between £1,000 and £5,000 for the nominated charity.
