Terrier Gin is one of the Persie Charity Collection! The cause was brought to our attention at Crufts when the charity Terrier SOS was praised for its outstanding contribution to the dog rescue community throughout the UK and Europe.
This special edition gin will be on sale for a limited period only, with £5.00 per bottle donated to Terrier SOS.
The team’s ethos is that care and compassion shouldn’t stop at a border. The rescue began saving dogs from shelters in southern Spain – with many dogs abandoned by British families – but has evolved to help Terriers in need in other parts of Europe and the UK.
Most of the charity’s energies are focused on rescues or pounds/perreras. This includes:
– extreme case dogs
– dogs with deadlines
– dogs that have been overlooked or have little chance of finding a loving home
– dogs that are left in kennels so long they become institutionalised.
The team also supports the shelters by providing supplies, medication, food and bedding.

And the gin itself? Not surprisingly Terrier Gin has been created for dog lovers who are drawn to a strong spirit! We have captured the essence of the breed with invigorating notes of juniper and a lively rush of spice from cinnamon and cardamom. The heart of the gin is brimming with warmth!
Flavour profile: herbaceous juniper, cinnamon and cardamom.
Suggested serve: mix with tonic, lemonade or ginger ale. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange peel.
This limited edition gin is available in 50cl bottles. The label was designed by Simone Tinazzi Martini, Italian artist and supporter of the charity. His Instagram profile is here.
One last thing! We know that Terriers come in all shapes and sizes, so if you would like a picture of your dog (or dogs!) with their name(s) on the back label that’s no problem at all. Just follow the instructions below 🙂
A Word About the Persie Charity Collection
Persie Distillery launched its first charity gins in 2018 with Labrador Gin, Spaniel Gin and Dachshund Gin Liqueur, with each bottle sold raising funds for Scottish dog rescue charity PADS. Pusscat Vodka launched in 2020 as a fundraiser for Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. Since 2022, we have chosen to release a new limited edition to our Charity Collection each year – available for 12 months and dedicated to a particular cause. This has featured Terrier Gin for Terrier SOS (2022), Whippet Gin for JR Whippet Rescue (2023), Unbridled Gin for World Horse Welfare (2024), and Golden Retriever Gin for Canine Partners (2025). During the year, each Charity Collection spirit has raised between £1,000 and £5,000 for the nominated charity.
